In the prior art, a raw rubber hose is molded and extruded using an integrated technology. Next, a first steel wire 14 is sequentially braided outside the raw rubber hose to form a vulcanized hose. The second steel wire is then braided and the process continues until the desired thickness has been reached. The heatproof glue layer can then be removed.
Over-braided flexible conduit offers high mechanical strength and flexibility. It is resistant to abrasion, hot-swarf, and corrosion. Over-braided flexible conduit is also EMI-resistant, which means it will not conduct EMI signals. EMI is a type of electromagnetic interference, and it can affect electrical and non-electric equipment. Using an explosion-proof conduit will protect vital equipment while maintaining normal operations.
High pressure rubber hose made of high-pressure cloth rubber
Look for a UL label as well as the manufacturer’s certification when choosing an explosion-proof hose. The UL label will provide additional protection against heat and flames if the hose is being installed outdoors. You should also look for a continuous layer antistatic polyurethane. This will ensure that the hose won’t crack when it is flexed. Non-flammable hoses are made of high-pressure nylon tubing.
An example of a prior-art explosion-proof hose is shown in FIG. FIG. 1 and FIG. 2. Raw rubber is used in the manufacturing process to vulcanize and wind the hose. A first steel wire 14 is then sequentially braided outside of the hose. A raw rubber tape 16 is then wound around the first wire. These layers are then joined using heatproof glue.
The most common reason a hose fails is misapplication. An incorrect fitting could be attached to the hose, cutting the tube and allowing product to escape. This could cause a leakage or cause the cover to bubble or blister. Temperature exposure decreases a hose’s pressure ratings. Excessive hot or cold temperatures can cause discoloration and cracking, hardness, static electric buildup, and other problems.
Rubber hose reinforced with fabric
A fabric reinforced explosion-proof rubber hose is a flexible hose that has reinforced layers of fabric between reinforcing and insulating materials. This hose can have up to eight layers of reinforcement. One embodiment may also include an outer cover layer made from a polychloroprene or nitrilsoderzhashche rubber mixture. In addition, a cushioning layer may be added between the reinforcing layers.
Fabric-reinforced Hoses are made from layers of thermoset polymer and glass fibre. It may also contain spiral wires embedded between the reinforcing layers to provide additional protection. A fabric-reinforced hose may be flammability and temperature-resistant. Fabric reinforced hoses may be able to withstand flammable gases and may include flame-retardant additives.
Fabric-reinforced rubber hose can withstand high pressure and high temperature. Its outer casing is reinforced with two layers of 0.036 inch (0.91 mm) calendered CR rubber. It is then wrapped in a nylon curing tape, and cured for 45 minutes at 338 degrees Fahrenheit. It must have a working pressure of 10 bars. It must also pass the ISO 15540 fire testing.
